This hook was designed for tying smaller foam terrestrials and bushy dries, but we have to say we love it for just about any dry fly we tie! The wide gap allows for a little extra room on flies that have a lot of materials involved, and Umpqua's new V-Lock bend design will hook and hold fish extremely well. The 0.5X heavy wire won't bend out when you do hook that big one, either. This hook is perfect for flies like our brand new Stubby Ant and our Summer Stone!
