This fly comes from our friend Tommy Bradford, an excellent fly tyer and fisherman. Tommy spends all summer fishing the Madison and has a lot of knowledge on fishing the river, so when he shows us a fly, we know it's been tested extensively and has proven successful. Tommy first showed this fly to a few of our guides several seasons back, and they've been clamoring for us to get this fly in the bins ever since. It's been most successful nymphed deep during spring and summer to imitate caddis larvae, but is also a great swinging fly when caddis pupa are more active.
