Summer Stone Olive size 12

Aaron designed the original olive Summer Stone as a fly that could fill multiple roles throughout the season. It matches several smaller stoneflies like yellow sallies and skwalas closely enough to be effective, and also serves as a generic terrestrial and attractor throughout late summer and early fall as well. The guides soon asked for a smaller version specifically tailored to the Yellow Sally as well, and Aaron brought the yellow version to us not long after. We've since also added black variation that will match dark stones and small crickets, and a purple coloration as well for an attractor to keep the fish guessing! We love versatile flies that can cover a variety of situations here at BRF, and as such the Summer Stone has earned a permanent place in our summer boxes.
