As with all Korkers boots, the interchangeable Omnitrax sole system allows you to change your traction on the go to meet your demands from one river to another, and the River Ops comes with a high-end Vibram sole as well as the usual felt, which is an upgrade over the standard sole choices on other boot models. Hydrophobic materials help the boots dry faster, and water channels inside the boot drain quickly and efficiently through the midsole so that you aren't lugging around a bunch of extra water weight in your boots. Standard laces with hooks on the upper allow you to customize your fit, and an enhanced EVA midsole provides plenty of cushion and support throughout long days on the water.
