Brian is from Carpenteria, California. He took up fly fishing with his Dad at a young age. Brian started guiding in West Yellowstone in 1996. In 2006, he joined the Blue Ribbon guide staff. He’s an accomplished guide in and out of the boat. You’ll often find him floating the Madison when dry fly fishing is prime. He also enjoys guiding our smaller, lesser known streams. Brian has thoroughly fished all of our local waters. It’s unlikely that you’ll mention a log jam, or slick that he doesn’t already know about. He has a knack for getting clients into big fish in unknown locations. Brian has fished throughout the Rockies for trout and fished for salmon and steelhead in the Pacific Northwest. When he isn’t out fishing he can be found bowhunting. He also spends time playing golf and oil painting. He lives in Yellowstone country year-round.
