White Miller caddis are well-known for fluttering and skittering about just above the surface of the river, and trout can often be seen chasing the moving insects and ignoring any dead-drifted flies. Aaron created the Razor Caddis for this situation, when skating the fly requires a pattern that is extra buoyant. The Razor Foam body repels water where a dubbed body would soak it up, and the combination of Micro Zelon and deer hair in the wing add more flotation to create a fly that's tough to sink.
