Slough
The third meadow
of Slough Creek is truly an angler's paradise. Large, native
Yellowstone Cutthroat haunt the gentle glides and pools
of the meadow waters of Slough greedily consuming a large
variety of insects. After comfortably arriving by horseback
at the third meadow, we will fish to our heart's content,
dine on gourmet meals, listen to wolves howl, and enjoy
the serenity of the high mountains in Yellowstone.

Lamar
We all know how
good the Lamar River is below its junction with Soda Butte
Creek, but did you realize that there are thirty more miles
of river upstream. The Upper Lamar flows in and out of tight
canyon and meadow stretches as it winds through wild and
scenic country. This underfished stretch of river offers
numerous runs and pools holding an abundance of eager trout
around every bend. After seven days of spectacular native
cutthroat fishing, five star meals prepared over an open
flame, bugling elk and howling wolves, and camaraderie you
can only find under the big sky, you will be begging to
stay.

Bechler
The southwest
corner of Yellowstone is one of the most overlooked portions
of the Park. This area also boasts the most contiguous pieces
of unburned forest in the area. In addition to a vast tract
of old growth forest, the southwest corner also features
one of the jewels of Yellowstone’s backcountry fisheries,
the Bechler River. Join Steve and Yellowstone Mountain Guides
for an exciting new BRF pack trip. We will spend six days
exploring the beautiful meadows of the Bechler and some
of the fantastic small streams in the area.
